Heys travel over the Pennines on Saturday as the Emirates FA Cup gets underway with an Extra Preliminary Round tie at Stocksbridge Park Steels (3pm)

The two sides met in the Preliminary Round of the competition two years ago, drawing 2-2 at Adie Moran Park before Stocksbridge won the replay 2-1.

The Sheffield side, for whom Jamie Vardy started out, came 15th in the Northern Premier League Division One East last season. However, this will be the first outing of the new season, with their League campaign set to start next weekend.

Heys have played two League games so far, both ending in defeat, with late goals proving costly at Cheadle and at home to AFC Liverpool on Tuesday night.

Both performances have offered some encouraging signs for Managers Russ Saunders and Matty Russell from their new look side and whilst they are facing a side from the level above, they will be looking to see further progress from their players.

The winners of the tie will be away to Bradford (Park Avenue) of the Northern Premier League in the Preliminary Round on August 17th.
