Heys head to Merseyside on Thursday night to face League leaders Lower Breck (8.00pm)

The Anfield Sports Community Centre based team have set a pace akin to their Premier league neighbours this season, setting the pace at the top of the Division One North table, which they presently lead by six points.

They hold that advantage despite having failed to win any of their last four games. Draws with AFC Liverpool and Cleator Moor have been sandwiched by defeats at Garstang and most recently, at Shelley last Saturday.

It’s a run Heys will be looking to extend as they look to push up the table. They will also be looking to avenge the 4-0 defeat they suffered at Adie Moran Park in September, one of the more painful afternoons of the season so far.

Heys demonstrated a mixture of great attacking football and real defensive grit in their hard earned win over Golcar at the weekend and they will need to reproduce that form again if they are to return home with the points.
