After being frustrated by the weather last weekend, Heys will hope for better conditions for Saturday’s trip to Abbey Hulton United (3pm).
The Staffordshire side have made a good impression on their debut season in the League and presently sit thirteenth in the table with 27 points from 22 games.
They established themselves as the League’s draw experts early in the season including grabbing a point from a 2-2 draw at Adie Moran Park in September. Their form has been been up and down since then, but they come into the game on the back of successive wins at home to Oswestry and at Sandbach on Boxing Day.
Heys Manager Jon Lyons will be in doubt that this a tricky hurdle for his side to overcome. He will have noted the Sandbach result and impress on his players the need to build momentum as the season enters its second half.
However, his side enter the game in good spirits with seven points taken from their last three games, two of which were long distance trips to Holker and Carlisle.
