Heys host Stockport Town at Adie Moran Park on Saturday (3pm) looking to build on their morale boosting win over South Liverpool in midweek.
The first win of the season was reward for the hard work shown in the opening weeks of the season where even in defeat it has been tight margins, with late goals proving their undoing. Heys finished strongly in their draw with Colne last week and picked up that tempo from the off on Merseyside to record a fine win. Heys are 16th with four points from four games.
Stockport were promoted during the Summer and have made a solid start to life in the Premier Division. They opened with a 2-1 win at Irlam before picking up a home point in a 1-1 draw with West Didsbury. A 4-2 victory at Litherland followed before they suffered their first League defeat of the season at home to Glossop North End last weekend by the same score. Stockport are eighth with seven points from four games.
