After a dramatic week at Adie Moran Park, its back to the action on Saturday as Heys travel to Pilkington in the NW Counties Premier Division (3pm).
Nick Simister will take the reins with Dan Wolstenholme, but new Manager Ryan Hutchinson will be in attendance, in a game that will give a true measure of his task ahead.
Heys sit second bottom, in the relegation zone, with eight points from nineteen games, without a win in eleven matches. Pilkington are two places higher, with fourteen points from eighteen games. There is much at stake for both sides. Nothing will prove decisive tomorrow but a win for either side would brighten the outlook a little.
The hosts have taken ten points from their last six games, including a 1-0 over Charnock Richard whilst in their last two matches they have drawn 0-0 with fellow strugglers South Liverpool before winning 4-2 at Colne last weekend.
Heys had an afternoon to forget at home to FC St. Helens last week and know the time has come to start picking up points.
