Heys welcome Colne to Adie Moran Park in the NW Counties Premier Division on Saturday (3pm).
After both finishing in the top half of the table last season (8th & 10th respectively) both sides go into the game looking for their first wins of the season.
Both teams exited the FA Cup last weekend after defeats in their opening two League games. Both teams have suffered home defeats to AFC Liverpool with Colne losing 2-1 and Heys going down 1-0 in their last home match. In their other games Heys lost 2-1 at Cheadle Town whilst Colne were beaten 4-1 at home by Barnoldswick Town.
Heys and Colne have both seen changes in the Summer with new Managerial teams and changes in squad personnel. At Colne, Stuart Mellish and Peter Band agreed to become the clubs new managers after the departure of Paul Weller. Amongst the player departures was striker Lucas Weaver, who won the League's Golden Boot Award last season, who has signed for Altrincham.
New Heys bosses Russ Saunders and Matty Russell have seen their new look side produced promising peformances in all their matches thus far only to be edged out late on. They will be hoping their side can bring that promise to fruition and secure three points tomorrow.
