Heys travel to Padiham on Saturday looking to maintain their unbeaten start to 2024.
January saw Heys pick up ten points from their four League games to keep themselves firmly in the promotion race from the NW Counties Premier Division.
As the season enters it's final three months Heys still have a chance of either automatic promotion or a chance of going up through the play offs. The coming weeks, with a regular Saturday, Tuesday calendar will prove important in whether those ambitions can be fulfilled.
Tomorrow's game is the first of two in four days against sides who sit just outside the play off places but who are very much in contention after great runs of form. Colne visit Adie Moran Park on Tuesday but before then is the trip to The Arbories. Padiham have been in great form, second in the form table, they are unbeaten in their last nine games and sit in ninth in the table with forty six points from 31 games. On their current form they will be looking to see if they can make a late bid for the play offs themselves. Heys, in fourth with 57 points from 29 games will know a win tomorrow could stifle those ambitions, whilst enhancing thier own.
