Heys travel to Kendal Town on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
Lee O’Brien and James Hampson will looking for their side to bounce back after their disappointing home defeat to AFC Liverpool on Saturday.
Whilst the Merseyside outfit were strong opponents there was a flatness about much of Heys play and they will be looking to rediscover the zest that has characterised their performances so far this season when they travel North.
Heys sit sixth in the NW Counties Premier Division table with 12 points from six games and will be looking to add to their points tally against a Kendal side who sit 17th with six points from their six matches.
The Cumbrians were relegated from the Northern Premier League last season and lost their opening three League games of the campaign to current League leaders Vauxhall Motors, Barnoldswick Town and Wythenshawe Town.
However, successive away wins at Burscough and Irlam raised spirits before a 4-1 loss at home to Northwich Victoria on Saturday.
Both teams will be looking to improve their current status. Heys will be looking to consolidate amongst the leading pack whilst Kendal with have eyes on pushing up into the top half in what will be the first ever meeting of the two clubs.
