Heys have this week completed the loan signing of Atherton Collieries striker Adam Farrell.
Farrell, who has also played for Chorley and AFC Fylde, made a goal scoring debut and received Heys Man of the Match award in the game with Ashton Town on Tuesday night and will remain with us up until Christmas.
He has had a run of injuries in the last couple of seasons but remains a firm part of Colls Manager Michael Clegg’s plans. The Colls boss wants him to get a good run of games together and thinks the way he and Heys play will be good for both parties.
Also, joining Heys from Colls are Ian Rowlands and Ben Conway.
Rowlands is a centre-half who has a wealth of experience having also played for Clitheroe and Ashton United.
Conway can play upfront or midfield and started his career at Colls whilst also having a stint in America before returning to Atherton.
