Amidst the busy recent schedule Louis Potts joined the club, making his debut against Brigg Town. Our reporter Jay Cooper caught up with the 19 year old striker.
Where did your interest in football come from?:
It's something I've always been interested in, and I've played it from such a young age so I never really stopped.
Who do you support (apart from Heys, obviously)?:
I'm from Manchester so Manchester United
Where did you come from?:
I did the first part of this season at Glossop North End, and I spent last year with Workington. Before that, I played my youth team football at Preston North End – I was at Deepdale for 6 years
What brought you to Heys?:
I came for a training session and ended up playing in a game, and I really liked the way that Heys play. I got such a nice welcome from everyone and settled in nicely.
Aspirations for the season:
On a personal note, I want to come in, do well and get some goals under my belt and hopefully, as a team, we can get as high up the table as possible by May.
