Heys will make a nostalgic return to their former home at Grimshaws on Wednesday 11th July when a Heys XI will take on Prestwich FC in a pre season friendly (6.45pm)

Prestwich FC, who are based at the Cricket Club, now play on the land formerly occupied by Heys on Heys Road.

Although the stand and buildings are long gone, after Heys vacated the land in 1990, the ground holds many special memories for former players, officials and fans.

The ground witnessed some notable successes and great players over the years not least those huge FA Amateur Cup games of the 60's when thousands flocked to the ground.
